A few months ago, we shared news of PetSafe’s unleashed dog park contest, where they were looking for nominees wanting local dog parks. Today, PetSafe announced the 15 finalists in the Bark For Your Park contest. The finalists need you to help them win $100,000 to build one.

• Kirkland, WA

• Mission Viejo, CA
• Mobile, AL
• Montgomery, AL
• Orland Park, IL

• Plainfield, IN
• Warsaw, IN
• Westfield, IN

Now, here’s where you can help: take a look at the videos each finalist created showing why they want and deserve a dog park. Then, vote for your favorite between now and August 3, 2011. You can vote once per day on both BarkForYourPark.com and the PetSafe Facebook page.
After August 3rd, votes will be tallied and the community with the most votes will win the $100,000 from PetSafe to build their park.
Local dog parks are great for communities. They offer dog owners a place to let their dogs run off-leash, socialize, and get exercise, and it brings neighbors together too. Good luck to each of the 15 finalists!
