Do you need your dog to leave an injured paw alone? Paw protectors for dogs are designed specifically to aid in healing.
With this patented protective boot, your dog won’t be able to lick and chew the wound, or pull off bandages protecting it. This saves you from having to go back to the vet for new bandages. (U.S. Patent 7,971,557 and 8,113,152. Canadian Patent 2,486,628. )
It has a wide top to make it easier to slide the boot on over bandages and wounds. The spandex sides allow it to expand and contract, making it a perfect fit for your dog's paw with or without bandages.
Breathable material allows air to flow in and out of the boot. This is important in healing: warm, moist areas allow bacteria and infection to grow, so this boot’s ability to keep the area cool and dry helps prevent infection and promote healing.
No worrying about the boot coming off – it is designed to stay right where it is. Most boots have one Velcro strap to hold it in place, but this one has two, for a more secure fit. Foam pads inside the boot help hold it in place and provide extra comfort. It also has non-skid PVC soles so your dog won’t go sliding across the floor in the boot.
Paw protectors for dogs are sold individually and are available in three sizes.
If you're measuring your dog’s foot without a bandage: Measure the width of your dog’s paw, across the widest part of the paw, then add 1/4”.
